Quality of teachers is the most important and decisive factor in influencing student outcomes in every aspect. Teacher education plays a key role in determining the quality of teachers. Investigation by Deota (2012) revealed that B.Ed. student-teachers during their course face variety of problems. It can be said student-teachers have their own set of problems and environment. How do they face challenges, direct their actions, and succeed? This book is driven to find its answer in concept of spiritual intelligence, self-efficacy, emotional intelligence as contributors in academic achievement of student-teachers/teacher trainees. Inclusion of elements of humane education in B.Ed. curriculum as proposed by NCFTE (2009), more emphases should be given to inclusion of activities and components enhancing emotional skills, self-efficacy than spirituality components.This project was particularly undertaken to gain firm research evidences basis on which designing of a special program for B.Ed. student-teachers is intended in order to enable them to deal with stress and challenges involved in B.Ed. course.
