Ultrasound evaluation of the shoulder joints can be exceptionally admired in the general population and especially in the elderly as its availability, convenience and affordable cannot be over emphasised. Its diagnostic accuracy in the hands of trained professional has been likened to that of the comparatively very expensive MRI. Evaluation of the effect of diabetes on the musculoskeletal system will only promote better care for the patients.
