Material Optimization of a Rubber Compression Moulding Machine

Parametric design optimization and a modern design approach (i.e. size and topology optimization) are applied and demonstrated on the structure of a rubber compression moulding machine using ANSYS 13 software. The study confirms that the structural optimization results in an innovative design with low cost.
