Intensive shrimp farming systems in Asia

The book provides the author’s published R&D and field trials articles and experience the strategies used on farming, biosecurity and biofloc technologies since emergence of Viral diseases in Asia from late 1994. Including examples of different biofloc and recirculation aquaculture (RAS) shrimp farming systems used in Asia in the last two decades, including some of the projects I have personally been involved with and provided technical expertise, as well as some perspectives on these technologies. Large integrated shrimp farms in Indonesia: PT Dipasena Citra Darmaja and PT Central Pertiwi Bahari in Lampung, South Sumatra, and PT Sekar Abadi Jaya in West Sumbawa and in Malaysia: Blue Archipelago Bhd projects - Arca Biru Sdn in Kedah and the iSHARP project in Terengganu.
